Great news was received today in relation to the Flahavans Primary Schools Cross Country League. Our girls team have qualified for the Cross Country Finals held in Mallusk at the end of the month! Our school will compete with 2 other teams from our own section, along with the top three qualifying teams from each of the other five areas in Northern Ireland. The school team consists of 6 girls with the first 4 scoring points based on their finishing position which are then added up to give a team score. The team with the lowest score wins. There will be some stiff, (friendly!), competition among this bunch of girls for the 6 slots available for the final! This is the first time a team from our school has qualified for the finals and is a great achievement for these girls who have worked really hard in the prevailing months. Well done girls!
