Over the past few weeks P3 pupils have been learning about the history of toys and life in the past. Last week they visited the Armagh museum to see some Victorian toys and investigate how they worked.
We also had a very special visitor to our school on Monday 13th of March. Mr Donald McKenna, a past pupil of Middletown primary school kindly spoke to our P3 pupils about life long ago. The pupils were transported back in time as Mr McKenna told them many stories about attending school in the year 1938! The girls and boys also played some very interesting games from the past with Mr McKenna.
Many thanks to Mr McKenna for giving up his time to share his invaluable and first hand information. The primary 3 pupils thoroughly enjoyed this captivating and memorable experience.
