P4 visit the Palace Stables
28th Jan 2015
On Monday 19th January, Primary 4 went on an educational trip to the Palace stables to learn about what life was like during World War Two. The children were informed about the Blitz, Evacuees, Rationing, Air-raid Shelters and much more. They also met an American ‘G.I’ who was based in Armagh as an Evacuation Officer. All the girls and boys created their own Identity card and evacuation label.
Everyone had a great time learning more about our topic for this term ‘World War Two’.
